There is a steadiness that comes with this one. The kind you feel in your wrists at the end of a long day - a quiet settling, like something pulled tight finally easing.
The center braid is pressed by hand, each chevron ridge formed separately with a chasing tool I have had since my third year of making. The copper rails that frame it are shaped and fitted separately, then joined. It takes longer that way. But it is worth it.
People who wear copper tend to keep it on. Some have worn a piece of mine for years without ever taking it off. I have never felt the need to explain that, and I won't start now.
I made this one to be worn, not saved. I hope it finds a wrist that needs it.
